An unordinary forest planted in 1930 is a home for 400 pines in total. The strange look of the local pines makes people suppose that special methods of cultivation including secret tools was practiced here. For example, there’s a theory that these pines had been grown to be “Compass Trees” or even for usage as a resource for constructing ships. Another version is that growing trees of Crooked Forest tried to run away from German panzers passing the new grove and affecting this change in growth.
