Don’t Visit These Countries If You Are American

If you think that everyone thinks that America is the country of dreams and everyone wants to move there, you are greatly mistaken.It is difficult to please everyone, which is why certain countries throughout the world despise Americans.

When countries resent Americans for any reason, it may lead to strife and troubles. American ideals, leaders, actions, beliefs, and various other concerns can all contribute to foreigners aiding and abetting America's profound hatred or mistrust, and some of those views are justifiable.

Today, we'll take a look at countries that despise Americans. Perhaps there shouldn't be next to your holiday trip itinerary!

Remember that all of the data in this article come from the Pew Research Center, a nonpartisan public opinion research organization, and a variety of additional sources, which are all cited throughout.

Egypt

Because the United States supports Hosni Mubarak and unwillingness to do anything to topple the Muslim Brotherhood, 85 percent of those polled by Pew Research have an unfavorable opinion of the United States.

This, along with cuts to Egypt's foreign aid, has led to the US's strong dissatisfaction.

Greece

Debt-ridden Greece, as seen by Pew Research's 63 percent negative rating, finds it difficult to accept any American message of optimism.

Public drinking is a common concern among Greek citizens. They appear to criticize individuals who have fun in public, which is exactly what many young American visitors do when they travel.

Germany

They love and hate the United States at the same time. Despite a dismal 47 percent approval rating, many Germans crave American adoration.

Like many other countries, Germany believes that Americans are lazy, unclean, and too nationalistic. However, this is also true coming from a country that has a long history of being very patriotic.

Jordan

In the same study, Egypt appears to have the same feelings about the United States. American favorability scores have dropped 13 points since 2009, leaving 86% of Egyptians with an unfavorable view of the country.

Surprisingly, public opinion contradicts the official government position. Jordan is recognized as one of America's most important Middle East friends, and the Jordanian government is strongly pro-American.

Iran

After Iran took over the US embassy in Tehran in 1979, no love was lost between Iranians and Americans, culminating in MarketWatch's 61 percent unfavorable rating.

Recently, Iran's authorities (maybe cynically, some argue) alluded to our recent protests and civic upheaval as more proof of our evilness. Surprisingly, they have little to say about their humanitarian issues.

Turkey

A massive surge of Syrian refugees without significant US support may contribute to America's 73 percent unfavorable opinion, according to a Pew Research poll.

When Barack Obama came to the country in 2009, protesters called the United States the enemy of the world's people and asked him to leave.

Russia

Russia and the West have never had the greatest of relations. A negative attitude toward US engagement in Ukraine might result in a 71 percent unfavorable rating in the Pew study.

Under President Trump's new administration, we may anticipate a positive relationship between Russia and the United States.

Territories of Palestine

The United States is seen as aggressively backing Israel, which does not sit well with Palestinians, as seen by an unfavorable rating ranging from 66 percent to 72 percent in many polls.

While this is a decline from an all-time high of 80% disapproval, it is unlikely to fall much more as long as the US is considered as Israel's supporter.

Belarus

Belarus is close with Russia, and it does not appear to be confident in an alliance with the US. Seventy percent of the general populace disapproves of Americans.

On the other hand, Belarus's weak financial prospects may have a role. Economically depressed countries are less inclined to approve of America.

Argentina

Many Argentines are gloomy about the United States, giving it a 57 percent unfavorable rating.

This violation pertains to citizens of the United States since they commonly refer to themselves as Americans. Argentina is a South American country as well.

Lebanon

Since 2007, Congress has imposed limits on Lebanon's funding. Unfortunately, such actions have a negative impact on Americans across the country.

The United States, like some of the other nations on this list, is not Lebanon's primary target. The European Union is losing popularity, and Germany is doing even worse.

Austria

According to MarketWatch, 55% of Austrians dislike the United States.

Much of it is due to fast food, which has become ingrained in American culture. Many Americans do not appear to be adventurous enough to taste new Austrian dishes.

Tunisia

An anti-Islam theme was found in the propaganda video Innocence of Muslims, distributed online by a US citizen, contributing to Tunisia's 47 percent negative image of America.

In the past, relations between the United States and Tunisia have improved. There is no reason to believe that current warming will continue.

Slovenia

Slovenians have a 54% unfavorable opinion of the United States because they disapprove of its leadership. This is likely to change now that Melania Trump, who was born in the nation, is the First Lady.

Slovenia's strong association with the Soviet Union may impact the American popular view of the country.

Pakistan

The United States maintains a significant military presence in Pakistan, and many Pakistanis harbor ill will toward Americans.

When Osama Bin Laden was murdered in the nation, anti-American sentiment peaked.

Chile

Almost half of this South American country doesn't like the United States.

This act has global consequences. As the State Department puts it, Chile is one of the United States' "most important allies in Latin America."

Canada

Our northern neighbors have a disapproval rating of 51% because they don't like Donald Trump and his policies that cause problems for the country's people.

But the story doesn't end there. Antipathy against the United States, notably by Canadian politicians, has been a rhetorical strategy employed by Canadian politicians since at least 1891. How much of this hatred is accurate, and how much is motivated by a desire for prestige?

Australia

Australia's low approval ratings may be attributed mainly to the country's disdain of George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

Most Australians feel that there are several factors that motivate Americans to select wars and conflicts as a means of gaining domination.

Netherlands

The majority of Dutch people, 59%, regard Americans as dumb, overweight, racist, and paranoid radicals. They do, however, believe that by removing racial prejudices, the United States may become a more positive environment.

Many Dutch individuals believe that after Trump leaves office, the bad parts of his presidency will be eliminated or eliminated.

Tajikistan

This country's image has deteriorated significantly over time, with a disapproval rating of 53%.

It appears that this little country does not have a favorable impression of many areas. In Tajikistan, China and Europe have had comparable approval rates.

Mexico

The Mexican government holds an extremely hostile view of the United States. Again, due to Donald Trump's xenophobic impulses.

To blame Trump for everything would be giving him too much credit. Since the border conflicts of the 1800s, there has been tension between the United States and Mexico.

Iraq

Iraq's 67 percent disapproval rating, which stems mostly from the wars that have ravaged the country, is not difficult to fathom.

Spain

Major scandals inside the Bush administration, as well as several other foreign concerns, have harmed Spain's popularity ratings significantly.

Not to mention that it taints their faith and confidence in Trump, further undermining his leadership.

Sweden

Along with Canada, right down to a disapproval rating of 51%. Swedish people have long seen liberal Americans as having a "Sweden fixation."

Donald Trump was also a source of dissatisfaction among Americans. Many of the schisms on this list have been exacerbated by him.

China

There has been a substantial surge in opposition to American international ties with China in recent years.

Because of the current trade war and the virus outbreak in Wuhan, ties between the two nations have not improved.
