1. Cape Kri, Raja Ampat (Indonesia)

Why is this place one of the best dive sites?

·        Diverse marine life: a record of 374 different species of fish, including manta rays, barracudas, sharks, and so on

·        Beautiful coral garden

Try diving from Papua Diving Resort or Liveaboard, these are the best spots

2. Barracuda Point, Sipadan Island

·        Great variety of sea life: Coconut Crab, Sea Turtles, Buffalo Fish, etc.

·        A world-class dive site with all amenities

·        The deepest point is 800 meters

Be careful with occasional strong sweeping currents

3. Blue Corner, Palau (Micronesia)

·        A wall dive which is popular among the experienced divers

·        Strong currents make diving very challenging

·        Here you have an excellent opportunity to see sharks and many other creatures thanks to diverse marine life

4. Thistlegorm, the Red Sea

·        Unique diving spot, where you can find a shipwreck, motorbikes, train carriages, and so on

·        The deepest point is 29 meters

·        Some travelers have seen giant moray eels

·        Perfect for a night dive

5. Shark and Yolanda Reef, the Red Sea

·        A shark reef – how cool is that?!

·        You can also find a shipwreck here

·        Great currents for drift diving

·        You can see three reefs in just one dive

6. The Yongala, Queensland (Australia)

·        A shipwreck at 109 m depth (entering is not allowed, however)

·        Lots of fish: tiger sharks, bull sharks, and manta rays

·        It’s one of the best dive sites because of gorgeous coral formations

7.  Great Blue Hole, Belize

·        Essentially a deep hole (143 m) with beautiful coral reefs on the edges

·        Great visibility – you’ll see everything

·        High season for diving is from April to June

·        This is a home for makos and sharks.

8. Big Brother, the Red Sea

·        For experienced divers only (50+ open water dives)

·        Wild and unpredictable currents

·        Here lucky divers get to even interact with sharks

9. Manta Ray Night Dive, Hawaii

·        There are lights set into the bottom, which attract plankton, and the plankton attracts manta rays

·        Currents can be strong at times

·        Close encounters with the large manta rays are almost guaranteed

Definitely, a worthy place to visit and one of the best dive sites in the world!

10. Liberty Wreck, Bali (Indonesia)

·        A great place to start for the beginners

·        A photographer’s paradise because of diverse marine life

·        Still and clear water with visibility of up to 30 meters
